32nd World Baton Twirling Championships 2014

The World Baton Twirling Federation’s (WBTF) 32nd World Baton Twirling Championships will this year be held in Nottingham from 7th to 10th August 2014 at the Capital FM Arena.

The World Baton Twirling Federation (WBTF) was formed in 1977 to develop and standardise the increasing popularity of the sport of baton twirling throughout the world.  The first World Championships were held in Seattle, Washington in 1980 and in each successive year, one member country has hosted the championships.

The current member countries of the World Baton Twirling Federation are: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Puerto Rico, Russia, Scotland, Slovenia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States of America.
