Our Ambassador Richard Flisher is a Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. He studied at the University of Nottingham and now is now a director of the largest architectural practice here.

I am the manager of our China Office and the director responsible for Business Development. I also hold lead design responsibilities. Our practice, along with other Nottingham consultants, has completed the first commercial carbon negative office building in the UK. There is also significant research and innovation in this field taking place at the Nottingham University.

Nottingham has a lot to offer, the supply of high quality employees from the Universities and a considerable critical mass of other consultants in related professions is far greater than anywhere else in the region.

I believe Nottingham should present itself as a centre of international design, digital arts, high tech research and industry and services generally.
