First hard hat tours of the £40m David Ross Sports Village

Both Nottingham Conferences team and Nottingham Events team were delighted to have taken their first hard hat tour of the impressive new £40million David Ross Sports Village on University Park campus at The University of Nottingham.

Due to open this autumn, the David Ross Sport Village will help create an outstanding, inspirational and accessible sports infrastructure. This addition will form part of the university’s existing sports facilities, which includes sports halls, a swimming pool and 52 playing fields set across three campuses.

“We are delighted to be further broadening our appeal to international and national sporting events and youth groups with this exciting new launch,” said Andrew May, General Manager for Nottingham Conferences. “This new addition joins a stellar collection of facilities at the university and ensures Nottingham Conferences continues to represent incredibly flexible event solutions for those looking to host conferences and sporting events both large and small.”
